This dress should compliment you figure amazingly and make you look drop dead gorgeous. The little black dress is a great piece to add to your fall closet. With fall just around the corner it is time for us to break out our "Staple Pieces". Staple pieces are pieces of clothing in our closet that are our "go to" items. These pieces allow us to be on trend without being too trendy. You can jazz your staple pieces up or down. We can always count on CoCo Chanel to give us a guide on what to wear this season. Since they are still one of the leading fashion designers of the world, we know they'll give us great looks that are fresh off of the runway. This pair of pearlized goatskin and patent calfskin thong sandal with a 15 mm heel is a great example of the trends for sandals this season. This shoe has traits that we can definitely find in other lines, that are perhaps less expensive. Traits such as sparkly features throughout the shoe as well as a tiny heel. This season there are plenty of compelling styles that will help you update your closet. Since there are so many new styles to choose from this will be a piece of cake. There is nothing better than upgrading your shoe wardrobe with a hot pair of platforms. Kim Kardashian was spotted color-blocking with a hot pair of strappy platforms.
Spring allows us to have plenty of options with this style. There are bold colors to choose from as well as fun straps we can play around with, when choosing a great pair of platforms.  Platforms help elongate the legs and are super comfy to walk in, since they take a few inches off of the heel. This way you are able to get the height you want without the pain of a high heel.

Ladies don't even think about putting your suede away...well not your shoes anyway. Tis the season for being bold. In years past, wearing suede in the summer was a huge NO NO. Not anymore. It is a must for this season. Since color isn't going anywhere the best way to make your look pop is to add some texture to it. Suede is a great texture to work into your wardrobe. This look is best complimented with neutral colors to allow your bright shoe to take center stage. You can always pull it off with color-blocking as well. You don't have to be fearless to pull this look off you just need to be able to add a splash of color to your everyday look. The suede in the summer look is one of my favorites, because I'm all about bending the rules to make a statement.

There is something about suede pumps that looks very upscale and confident. Be fearless and add this look to your already fabulous wardrobe. Go for it JazzItUp!!!

Shoes are definitely a girl's best friend, so why not make a statement with them. This season color  is the biggest statement you can make. But not just any color will do, loud bright neons are the hottest thing in the shoe world for spring and summer. There is no better way to jazz up your look than with a light and bright pair of funky pumps. This trend looks best with less. If you have an outfit that is simple and you want to liven it up, the bright shoe trend is a great way to do it. Make sure you aren't doing it with an outfit that is oozing lots of color. Otherwise this look can go from fab to sad very quickly. You want to make sure your shoes are giving your outfit necessary kick! This look can easily be over done.

The oxford is so BIG this season. It's no secret that leopard print is and will forever be in. So for two IT things to join together, its no wonder I'm absolutely obsessed! These are perfect for an unpredictable weather on a spring day. With these shoes you can easily make you look like a fashionista. On the days that you just wanna wear jeans but still want to look fabulous, these Dolce Vita oxfords will do the trick. I love these because it has color/pattern blocking features with it's sassy upper body which is separated it's edgy bright hued sole.

I believe that oxfords work best with less. A simple outfit will suffice simply because it will allow your shoes to take center stage. Spring Forward by upgrading your shoe wardrobe with spikes. Spring fashion is definitely more frilly than it has been, but on the days where you still feel like being a rock star you can slide your feet into a cool pair of spiked shoes.  It's not quite time to break out the sandals but we can always bust out a cool loafer. This "Damned PYR St. Man" loafer is a great place to start. They have an edgy feel and look yet they are still a luxury "mansion-style" slipper. Only a few brave souls will be wearing this look so you will have no worries about looking like everyone else.

Sam Edelman seems to be the "go to" spiked shoe designer. Their collection is jammed packed with flats, heels, and even sandals for this season. You can find cool spiked styles at many major style outlets like Niemans and Saks. But of course shopping online never seems to fail us when we are looking for something different. What's the secret to a great spring wardrobe? Shoes of course! You can have on the simplest outfit, still be able to shut the scene down with stunning shoes. My Spring pick is this Jeffrey Campbell "Kylie" sandal. This sandal would go great with solid neutrals like skirts, dresses, and shorts. Color, as always, is big this season. As I always say color is confidence. Add color wherever you can to your outfit, it is the key to making the outfit come to life!

For years we just haven't felt fierce unless we are rocking a hot pair of over-sized sunglasses. This year nothing has changed. It seems as if big shades will always and forever complete our looks. Designers like Chanel, Tom Ford and Gucci have created collections of shades for us to shield our eyes from damaging sun rays, in style of course.  Finding the perfect pair to fit your face is essential. You MUST try them on and you MUST consult a sales associate before buying your sunglasses. Remember, not every one can wear aviators or Ray Bans, simply because they don't look good on every face.  Your shades should compliment your face, not take away from it. Yes, that's right think ORANGE! It's the "IT" color for Spring 2012. Orange solids, prints, and stripes are a must for the upcoming season. You'll see in every fashion forward store like Nordy, Saks, and even H&M, so of course it won't be hard to find. Orange is one of those colors that looks great on almost everyone. Detroit Makes 106 History!!

BET welcomes Paigion and Shorty Da Prince to their 106 and Park family as new roving reporters! It was amazing to watch Shorty Da Prince do his thing today on the show. His presents was awesome and he definitely  put both his cities on, Detroit and St. Louis. He is a great addition to the BET family. COLOR...Blocking!!!...with Jeans

Color Blocking has never been so big. The trick is to pick colors from like groups, such as reds and pinks, purples and magentas, or blues and greens. Pick a nice flowy top and straight leg bottoms. Jeans would be the pefect bottom to pick. Who doesn't love a great pair of jeans , now you can jazz them up with a splash of color. Blue denim is BOOOORRRRIIINNNGGGG, don't be afraid of colors they are your best friend. If you haven't caught on by now, color blocking means you DON'T have to match.  Step outside the box and do something great with this look. Some great jeans to try this look with would be "J Brand" jeans (found at Nordstrom or any luxury retailer), Levi, and Joe jeans just to name a few.

Fab 5 Shocked the World!!....Again.

Fab 5 documentary aired of ESPN telling the story from four of the basketball players point of view. Finally we were able to hear exactly what happened during their legacy and why. Unfortunately, Chris Webber did not participate in the documentary at all because he didnt want to comment on the controversy behind the NCAA and the money "Big Money Johnson" allegedly gave him. The great thing is that we were able to understand why he called that tragic TIME OUT!
